Val Tierney Upholstery is a family-run upholstery business, first established in 1985 and based at our current premises on Regent Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire since 1990.
We believe that you deserve the best quality and value whichever of our services you use. If you want to revitalise your favourite existing furniture pieces our dedicated, sofa doctor repairs division will carry out a wide range of quality repair work, from the smallest zip repair to a virtual rebuild, all at very competitive prices.

We have a large selection of upholstery fabrics to choose from including Villa Nova, Romo Fabrics, Kobe, Kirby House, Jim Dickens etc and are happy to undertake traditional, modern, domestic and contract work. Loose covers, soft furnishing work and cushion replacement is all on offer.

Val Tierney
Val is a traditionally trained upholsterer having acquired his City & Guilds with distinctions, back in 1978. He then went on to gain experience in a traditional workshop environment as well as modern upholstery production. His experience covers all aspects of upholstery, polishing, restoration work and much more.
